Thanks!! :-)How long should you keep a 2-in-1 shampoo+conditioner in your hair before you rinse it off(for best results)?
Shampoo shouldn't sit on your scalp for very long-- it will dry out your scalp and eventually cause irritation.
Even the one you're using (the 2 - in- 1 type).
After you've worked the product into your hair and produced lather, rinse it off right away.

I have an Asian black hair type?what kind of shampoo or hair product can i use to improve my hair?
I have a straight, sorta long hair.i got this haircut lately and its kinda rough. Is there any hair product that i can use ti make it smooth, silky, and straight?
pantene is not working too wellI have an Asian black hair type?what kind of shampoo or hair product can i use to improve my hair?
improve what? black is beautiful ;-) i've got the same kind of hair.
i personally use ';bed head'; products and love them.
also you might want to have it dyed (professionally) ';blue black'; or
';jet black'; or if ur courageous go in and get blue highlights added- but that takes a certain kinda girl to pull that off.
good luck I have an Asian black hair type?what kind of shampoo or hair product can i use to improve my hair?
I know your pain! Im black and mexican. I straighten my hair with a simple Vidal Sasson flat iron (available at CVS, Right Aid, Wallgreens, etc) and instead of heavy hair oils in tubs that weight my hair down, or gels that have alchohol that strip its moisture, I use Olive Oil Spray Oil. I spray it on lightly (I like to put it on the peices I'm flattening) , flatten my hair, then wrap it so it lays flat, changing the direction (left or right) each night so my hair doesnt just lay flat on one side. Or if wrapping is too tiresome, sleep on a satin pillowcase, as cotten ones suck the moisture right out of our hair.
i noticed that my hair looks rough because of frizzes and flyaways, not because it's necessarly rough. but i use head and shoulders [smooth and silky in a white and pink bottle], green tea with lime juice, and two drops of olive oil to tame frizzes.. green tea and lime juice to add shine. and shampoo because it smells good (:
something that would make it shiny it look really sleak when u have shampoo with that!! the best kind that i used like that, that actually works is herbel essences! it great u should try it
try suave i love it

Clairol.......... it smells good ...
lor'eal because your worth it
There is a product that makes hair soft, shiny and healthier then ever. Plus, it makes any shampoo work great. It's called Ojon restorative Hair Treatment. It does cost more then a drugstore brand but a small jar will last a really long time. The results of one application lasts me up to 3 months. And you only use a tiny bit at a time. It turned my hair from straw to silk. My husband thought I got a new hair style!
I do like John Frieda's Sheer Blonde line. It really brightens my natural highlights and makes my hair fresh and clean.
Do check out the Ojon. Go to www.ojon.com.
sunsilk,
they have tons of diffrent products for diffrent hair, and they all work great
i useually dont wear purume but after i uses that my boyfriend is always saying how good i smell.
I use Aussie Awessome volumizing shampoo
And Herbal Essences Pin Strait conditioner
Also I mix an egg with my shampoo it keeps it healthy and shiny and very bouncy
i have colored hair and the best i have ever found is herbal essence color me happy it smells the whole house when you use it also it makes my hair healthy i have damaged hair and it does a good job on my hair i would give it 1000000000 stars
At the moment I use Delva pH balance you get it from hair salons .It has really helped my hair you also get a free leave in conditioner I think it cost around $40 4 the lot also it last 4ever. I normally never use the same shampoo %26amp; conditioner 2 but I will get this 1 again. My hair was in terrible condition this has made it very strong shiney %26amp; healthy well worth it.
Lush solid shampoos and conditioners! And their hair treatments too. They may seem expensive initially, but the solid products last for absolutely ever.
I used to have to buy liquid shampoo and conditioner every couple of weeks but now I just get a 拢5 block of The Blonde shampoo and a similar block of Jungle conditioner and they just never seem to get smaller!
I like Biolage and Joico. People always think that Salon quality shampoos have to be expensive but these two aren't. If you get the set of liter sized bottles they are usually $25.00 for both and it lasts me like 8 months... that's forever!!! Totally worth the money.

Can i use this shampoo on my kitten?
It is skin and coat shampoo with anti-hairball beads. the bottle says for cats and kittens. The kitten is 10 weeks old. Is is safe to use the shampoo on it?Can i use this shampoo on my kitten?
YES IVE DONE IT TWICE THE CAT WILL SMELL WHEN IT GETS WET LIKE A WET DOG BUT IT GOES AWAY IN 1 HOURCan i use this shampoo on my kitten?
If the label states kitten you should be ok.
A lot of shampoos will say for cats and kittens. But it is usually recommended for kittens over 12 weeks. Check the back of the bottle and it should tell you what age a kitten should be to use the product.
go head
Yes, it will be fine. Just be careful not to get too much water into your kitty's ears! Some cats are known to get ear infections.
Most likely yes. I have shampooed a cat, and let me tell you that it is not pleasant. I am sure you know that cats hate water. I usually get a wet washcloth and wipe down my cat so that I dont have to traumatize him. It gets a lot of excess hair and dirt off of him. Then, I run a comb through his coat and he is perfect. I would say to only shampoo your cat if he is really dirty. Shampooing too often can cause skin flaking, and if he has sensitive skin, it can irritate him. So, I would say you are okay to do it, but make it quick, make sure you have somebody to help you in case it gets out of hand, and only do it when it is necessary. Good Luck
yes as long as the kitten is over 5 weeks old it is fine
yes if it is a kitten shampoo it is usually for kittens 8 weeks and up unless otherwise stated.
wel maybe but just 2 be safe u should ask the vet all u do is call the vet so ur kitty will be safe then sorry
I would caution against it. Try plain blue Dawn. It's gentle and non-toxic.
Yes.
I would say that if the label says for cats and kittens , and your kitten is 10 weeks old , it would be safe. If you are worried though you could use baby shampoo , if you just want the kitten clean.
No, it's not safe for more than one reason.
It's too little to get wet unnecessarily, for one thing. At that age, it's easy for it to catch cold and that can turn into a respiratory infection. Fast. And, it will start to resent you and be afraid of you. I've seen people who thought they had to wash their kittens/cats and ended up with a pet that ran from them.
If you really feel the need to wash him/her, try a dry shampoo or a moist wipe formulated for cats. You can get either from the pet store. But cats/kittens keep themselves clean. If it's an indoor kitten, you don't need to bathe him/her ever.
If you're concerned about hairballs, it is better to get a tube of hairball remedy from the pet store. It's not expensive and most cats actually like it. And you can try a anti-hairball dry cat food. But wait until there's a problem before you try to fix it. Your kitten is pretty young for a hairball problem.
As far as his/her coat -- if the kitten is healthy, his/her coat will be shiny and beautiful. If there is ever a problem like dullness or bare patches, you should just take your kitten to a vet.

Which type of Organix shampoo should I use?
I found out about this shampoo and figured it was a good choice because it is sulfate free. I am black teenager with medium length relaxed hair. If you have any additional questions please ask because I am thinking about purchasing one this week. ThanksWhich type of Organix shampoo should I use?
Organix is the absolute best! They have different collections for different hair types all with amazing fragrances which are all awesome! For your hair type I would recommend either the Organix Smoothing Shea Butter shampoo and conditioner or the Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk shampoo and conditioner. You really can't make a mistake as they're all incredible! You can get Organix at Target, CVS, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, Rite-Aid, etc.

.Which type of Organix shampoo should I use?
I am an African American woman. Who does have natural hair but I use natural and organic based products. My hair has become healthier, stronger, and thicker.
I used this shampoo that is organic and sulfate free and chemical free.
It is called O2 Emu Shampoo and Conditioner. I love it. I think that it would work great with your hair. Especially if your hair is dry, brittle, and split ends.
These products are developed and created by and for African American woman.

What is the best shampoo for me? ?
I have dry and damaged ends, but overall my hair gets greasy very quickly. What shampoo should i use to prevent my hair from being so greasy but also repair the ends? (Available in the UK)
Also, should i condition my hair? I've been in the habit of not doing so because it makes my hair more greasy.
What is the best shampoo for me? ?
Don't get sucked into anything pricey that claims to 'repair' damage -- they don't, they just make it less visible BUT so does ANY conditioner!
Pantene %26amp; Tresemme are just as good as anything you'll buy in a salon, seriously.
Yous hould condition, likely you're greasy because you're really DRY -- so your scalp compensates and tries to fix itself by producing MORE oil, ya dig?
Use a conditioner, it WILL help!
Most skip a day of washing, I'd suggest you try this, again, for the dryness/oil compensating.
Wash %26amp; condition, next day put on a shower cap, day after wash %26amp; condition, etc.
There are shampoo and conditioners specifically for oily hair in every brand, try those if you like. Also, ones for colored hair are gentler and more moisturizing, they're likely your best option.
Hope this helps =o)What is the best shampoo for me? ?
Try to avoid daily washing. The sebaceous glands are overstimulated, secreting more grease onto the hair. This creates a vicious circle where the more you wash is the greasier it becomes.
Another problem with regular washing is that although the roots are greasy the rest of your hair is stripped of oil and the ends become dry and brittle. Use a mild ph-balanced shampoo and wash hair without rubbing the scalp too much. Only apply conditioner to the mid and ends rather than at the roots. Also to improve the condition of your hair massage in conditioner but mostly at the ends and only a little bit.
Watch your diet. Oily and fatty foods can contribute to greasy skin and scalp. Best of all is to use those days when you're at home to give your hair a rest from
daily washing. Try using a children's shampoo as these are often mild enough for greasy hair.
use a daily clarifying shampoo. but the difference, work it into the scalp, not all the way to the ends, rinse. as you rinse it will reach the ends but not be sitting on them too long. And yes use conditionder, just do the opposite. do not put it on your roots, only work it through about halfway down. then rinse.
pantene is really good for dry scalp. hmmm i use the green one. the bottle is green. i also use loreal kids grape conditioner.
this one

loreal shampoo and conditioner
it is the best for you and it is not inexpensive
also you have to condition your hair , but avoid it applying the conditioner on the scalp
use conditioner! it's what makes your soft =D. Look at the back of shampoo and conditioner bottles and look at the ingredients. the ones that have alcohol the farthest down are the ones to use.
Tresemme shampo and conditioner works great! I highly advise that you use conditioner but just what hair would hangdown if you had a pony tail in. This will prevent greasyness and keep your hair soft.
鈾?hope this helps!

Can I use Axe shampoo on my locs?
I have been growing my locs for 8 months now. Been mostly using a washrag and some dry shampoo to clean my scalp but now I want to fully get into it lol. I used to use Axe shampoo(the one in the blue %26amp; black bottle) cause it makes my hair smell good. Is it possible that I could use it on my locs also. I can't tell if it's a detangling shampoo or not.Can I use Axe shampoo on my locs?
Don't do it. Generally any soap with a scent will leave residue behind which will stay in your locs and build up.
Use this soap: http://www.knottyboy.com/shop/dreadlock_鈥?/a>
If you don't want to wait for delivery you can find it at Whole Foods and maybe some other places if you look around.

What is a good shampoo for poodles my groomer says head and shoulders anyone else have other ideas?
You should use johnson's baby shampoo or any other baby shampoo. They are tear free unlike head and shoulders shampoo. They will also make your poodle smell really nice and clean. What is a good shampoo for poodles my groomer says head and shoulders anyone else have other ideas?
Do not use human shampoo on dogs. It's the wrong pH.What is a good shampoo for poodles my groomer says head and shoulders anyone else have other ideas?
You should probably be careful using a human shampoo, the pH balance is not the same for dogs as for humans. Ask your vet to see what they think and check out the pet store.
NEVER NEVER use human shampoo on dogs are you crazy?? u may want to reconsider your groomer if this was her recommendation

both joico and sebastion are GREAT but- if your on somewhat of a budget, go ahead and pick up Infusium 23- the one for color treated hair also gives me plenty of moisture. My hair is always rediculously perfected when i use this stuff. And the smell is DIVINE!
Aussie 3 minute miracle deeeep is also a great deep conditioner to use once a week. Okey dokey, well i know you'll have some great lookin hair, peace!Whats a good shampoo and conditioner that will make my dry hair silky and smooth?
Aloe Vera,is a good remedy for dry hair. It is obtained from the leaves of the Aloe Vera plant. Break the leaf and squeeze out the liquid inside, apply this liquid to your scalp, keep for about an hour and wash it off . Check out http://solutionsfordryhair.blogspot.com/ for more info on dry hair.
I've tried a lot of different brands including the fancy salon brands and I still like Garnier Fructis the best (the seperate shampoo and conditioner not the 2in1.
I use a proffesional shampoo. It's called Laminates Sebastian proffesional shine cleanser and rinse. It's great. It makes my hair so soft and shiny...

You can use a color glaze. You apply in to your hair after you shampoo and condition your hair. It adds a hint of color. If you use it evertime you wash your hair you will get the best results. Its called John Freda. I don't know if I spelled that right but you can get it almost anywhere that sells shampoo.
Good Luck
Sandra
sure is lovey, i've seen these in coles before..
John Freida Brilliant Brunette
Sunsilk Deeply Brunette
and
Pantene ProV brunette expressions colour enhancer
I personally like John Freida, you will pay no more than $7 for one bottle, and you can get shampoo and conditioner. He probably has a website?
But yeah you cant use them on blonde hair, its more so meant for lighter shades of brown, and it will over a few washes darken your hair =)
Good luck
xo
you can use the kind that comes with hair dye. For example I had some that made my dark brown hair black. The shampoo had some dye in it I think
you can use shampoo with Henna (the problem is I don't know which brand)
i live in Oz too , but that has nothing to do wif ur question...

What do you guys think is the best hair shampoo for ethnic hair, or just mixed hair.?
It depends on what texture your hair is. I have three sisters and each of us have different texture hair. My hair is coarser and tighter curls, so prefer Pantene products, primairly deep conditioning. When I wash it, I comb the conditioner in with my fingers and it helps get rid of the tangles...leave it in for a few mintues, rinse, and then style your hair with whatever product you use. I don't use a comb or brush when styling so it leaves the curls intact, instead of combing them frizzy. But then again, it's all what texture your hair is, if your scalp/hair is dry or oily, how often you wash it, and if you have a relaxer in it.What do you guys think is the best hair shampoo for ethnic hair, or just mixed hair.?
Okay so define mixed?

Is there a shampoo to make my hair darker and less orange/red?
i dye my hair and its wearing out and its becoming an orange color. but i dont want red or orange in my hair. is there a shampoo to make my hair darker so i dont have to dye my hair again. Is there a shampoo to make my hair darker and less orange/red?
John Frieda has a line of shampoos and glazes out there for different shades of blondes, brunettes and red heads. I use his brunnette stuff and its amazing at keeping my (natrual) color. try to find the shampoos and try them out, they are for all hair types, including color treated hair- I know that they sell it at www.walgreens.com or try www.drugstore.com.
next time, use shampoos that preserve color like the one from garnier frutise or from pantine pro-v as soon as you can.
best wishes :)Is there a shampoo to make my hair darker and less orange/red?
Aveda has a good color shampoo.
That's the problem with dyeing your hair, when the dye is wearing out your hair changes color. You will just have to keep on dyeing it.
Henna Shampoo
yeah, its called the colorist, and they can be found at the salon! LOL
hrmm... not sure. sorry.
Henna shampoo will make your hair darker/browner

Neutrogena Anti-buildup shampoo: how well does it work?
If I'm looking for a shampoo to remove residue is the Neutrogena one very effective? If not what shampoo would you recommend and why? How long have you been using this product too. I get build-up since I have thick hair and from my shampoo for the most part. However, switching shampoo doesn't seem to help. Plus I use products too. If it (the clarifying shampoo) does work what are the downsides to it? I hear it can dry your hair and is expensive: but most good things are expensive. How often to you use your product too. I don't wash my hair every day as it is since it drys my hair out etc.Neutrogena Anti-buildup shampoo: how well does it work?
I use it once a week and have been for 10+ years. It works well for me!Neutrogena Anti-buildup shampoo: how well does it work?
Ya thanks I've been using Neutrogena for a while now and it works wonders! I use it every few days when my hair gets signs up build-up. Report Abuse
I'd also like to add that the baking soda method actually seems to be even more effective than Neutrogena. However, I don't trust something as harsh and drying as that in my hair very often. Report Abuse
Once when I had a lot of build-up a I used a combination of the two and it worked super wonders! Thanks a ton all of you! Report Abuse
DOnt go out and buy some clarifying shampoo-use your normal shampoo, but add 1/8 tsp baking soda to it. This is a kelator and will strip any build up on the hair. Do this once a week but always follow up with a really good conditioner.
Clarifying shampoos do strip your hair. Use the baking soda idea someone else mentioned. That does work.
Here is another tip. I used to have dry hair form highlights and styling, but by hair is MUCH healthier these days. I started to use shampoos WITHOUT the ';sulfates'; in them. These are the salts in most shampoo that strip your hair if essential oils needed within the cuticle for healthy hair. Pearatin by Loma is excellent. I don't know why more advertisement for sulfate free shampoos aren't out there. My hairstylist literally saved my hair by suggesting this to me. Now I get it highlighted and styled without fear. My hair is soft and shiny. (it used to be dull and dry)
Let me tell you something- it only works because it is a different shampoo. If you use ANY different shampoo, it will work the same way- because it is different than what you normally use.
However, Neutrogenea is reasonably priced, so you might as well.beauty makeup

Do Bald People Wash Their Hair With Soap or Shampoo?
My friends and I were wondering if bald people wash their head with soap or shampoo.Do Bald People Wash Their Hair With Soap or Shampoo?
some use soap some us shampoo. it may depend on the persons skin. soap can over dry the scalp and no hair leaves the scalp exposed to the elements such as air, heat, cold ...
i would suggest using shampoo, because its not just for hair. most shampoo has conditioner designed to keep the scalp healthy.Do Bald People Wash Their Hair With Soap or Shampoo?
Bald people wash there heads with Miracle Grow, hahahaha
and then top it off with Hair in a Can,LOL,and before they leave they glare at there Chia Pet

Whats a good shampoo and conditionar to shine hair/bring back to life?
From coloring/straighten and blowdrying it
My hair is between dry and normalWhats a good shampoo and conditionar to shine hair/bring back to life?
Hey there!
I love reccomending hair products, because i've used so many over the years =)
The best hair products on the market to shine hair, and bring it back to life is:
Shampoo%26amp;Conditioner: Redken Extreme(blue bottle, and can get at local hair salon) It works absolutely unbelievable! It cleanses, smoothens, and restores distressed hairs strength, to make it healthier and more managable!
Deep conditioning: You really need to do this once a week to repair hair and give it a smoothness and shine! I would use: Redken Butter Treat. It is awesome on smoothing and strengthining hair! To use: Apply on towel dried hair to ends and roots. You can leave it in for 10-15 minutes, and rinse(then blowdry if desired, because it is heat protectant too). You can leave in the deep conditioner for extra shine and smoothness!(do not blowdry if you leave it in)
Thanks so much %26amp; good luck to you! This all worked for my used-to-be dried and damaged hair =)Whats a good shampoo and conditionar to shine hair/bring back to life?
Biosilk Silk Hair Therapy shampoo, conditioner and silk drops are the best combo!!! I had very dry brittle hair from blowing it dry and using a straightener on it everyday and this combo seemed to help a lot!!! You can purchase the items at any hair salon and sometimes CVS.
herbal essense. They also have neat facts on the backs of the bottel. Like if you get shampoo, there will be a question and on the conditioner there would be the answer, its a cool idea. It also makes my hair amazingly smooth, and smeels AMAZING! But make sure u really srcub your hair when u rinse.
during my cosmetology class bedhead company came in for a presentation and did a demonstration, i would recommend their products. they seemed to really work
use a kind called garnier fructis sleek and shine
or use sunsilk (it has a lot of different kinds like de-frizz)
Aussie works good too!
Pantene ice shine and use a gloss-serum after styling hair
Philosophy really helps mine.
herbal essance.
i straighten my hair everyday
and this product works wonders.
just find the right one for ur situation.
I started to switch to organic shampoos and my hair feels better than ever.....

Non medicated dandruff shampoo safe for pregnancy?
I am 11 weeks pregnant and have a very dry scalp. It's very itchy and uncomfortable. My OB told me I can use a non-medicated dandruff shampoo. I have been using Head and Shoulders but I can't figure out if that is considered non-medicated or not. Any help?Non medicated dandruff shampoo safe for pregnancy?
I'm not completely sure, but i don't think that's considered medicated. Ask your OB. They should know. But I think a strong shampoo that SAYS medicated on it, like Selson Blue Medicated, would be what's considered medicated. But like i said, i'm not completely sure, so call the dr if you are worried. I'm sure you're fine.

Herbal Essence smells really good. When my daughter uses it and walkes by me, I can smell it. I find it very refreshing and it doesn't cost a lot of money.
Dove
I love a shampoo made by Charles Worthington, its called Results, It smells really good and It lasts a long time, but it doesn't smell fruity, and it diesn't smell like a flower garden, it just has a very clean scent. It kind of reminds me of mens cologne, my husband loves it too.
Garnier Fruitis
Garnier and Herbal ess. all have fruity smells but DOVE (which i LOVE) has a light powdery floral, but its expensive ($8) compared to others. Too bad it is incompatible with my head, I lost a lot of hair when I used it :(.
i use herbal essences
Bath and Body Works has shampoos and conditioners in like 8 or 10 different scents and these are the same ones that they have for lotions and sprays. They really smell good, and the scent stays with you. I use the Coconut Lime Verbena, and it smells GREAT.
Herbal Essence is what i found does the best for my hair. It keeps it smelling good for atleast 2 days i know cause theres been a few times i waited that long to wash it again. My hair is curly so its always frizzy and the Herbal Essence does sooooo good with the frizzies that it's un believable. All i can tell you is to try different ones out for a few weeks and see which one best fits your hair. Good luck!

Usually all the salons I've been to, usually don't have a shampoo girl. The stylist/hairdresser should be able to do all of this.At the salon, does your hairdresser or an assistant shampoo your hair?
Usually there is a shampoo girl. Tipping depends on what she does. When i highlight my hair i get it washed twice and then rinsed once. In that case i would say $7. For a haircut where they only wash once i would tip $3-$4.beauty makeup

How can you make a homemade anti-flea dog shampoo?
homemade anti flea dog shampoo for our dog....PLS. HELP US!How can you make a homemade anti-flea dog shampoo?
Any shampoo will kill fleas if lefton long enough. It dissolves the fleas exoskeleton, killing it. Leave it on for at least 5 minutes. Also, you can add some juice from the peel of an orange to the shampoo to help kill the fleas faster. How can you make a homemade anti-flea dog shampoo?
Actually, any shampoo will kill fleas......they'll drown. But any flea shampoo won't keep other fleas from jumping on your dog when the bath is finished. What you need is something that can work for extended periods of time...something with a residual effect. For example...there are dips, medicines you can apply directly to the skin, on the neck..ect. A flea only spends it's time on a dog just long enough to eat, then it jumps off. To in order to control the fleas at your house, you'll need to treat the dog...as I described above, the house and your yard. Only then will you have a handle on the fleas. Fleas breed very rapidly (an adult female has the potential to lay over 250,000 eggs in a month), so you may have to chance your insecticides or medicines for your dog on a regular basis. That way the fleas don't become resistant to the same medicines. Best of luck to you.
Get some Neem oil. Add 2 tablespoons into 17 ounces of your regular dog shampoo. It will repel the fleas. Or just go to Petsmart and get some De Flea shampoo. it will kill the fleas on contact. www.naturalchemistry.com is the website for the De Flea products.
Hey the best thing in the world that is safe for you and your pet is go and get you some listerene mouth wash put in a spray bottle and spray pet area....safe to spray in doghouse too...(safe for carpet but test in safe area before spraying completly on carpet) there should be NO problem...kills misquitoes and other insects...safe for you and me!!!
Eucalyptus, Garlic, there are a number of herbs that are suppose to keep fleas off dogs. Try an herbal remedy book. Check out what the library has.
Add tea tree oil to shampoo and let it sit... why homemade?

cus they all have amazing hair!! im just wondering lol. what brand? i heard they use redken. but idk, so do u know??What kind of shampoo and conditioner do celebrities use?
bed head, and i 4get what it is call but they r in bright yellow containers. =)What kind of shampoo and conditioner do celebrities use?
they have beautiful hair because they have the money to get it done everyday..im sure celebrities use more than just one kind of shampoo..just use herbal essance(spelling?) why go spend tons of money when u can get that for like 5 dollars???
they don't just ';use'; a certain ';shampoo'; or ';conditioner.'; they have hired people who do their hair and they have all sorts of custom supplies and products.
shampoo and conditioner are basic things, so they use simple drug store brands. the hairstylists and their tools and products are what make the hair beautiful.
they have amazing hair b/c they have amazing stylist.
Most of them have hairpieces and extensions to go along with the hairstylists and over-priced products. 2D

Is it okay to highlight my hair after I shampoo-ed ittt?
I shampoo-ed my hair at liiike 2:45 and I wanna highlight my hair with this blonde highlight crap that like strips ur hair color at like 7:15-ish so its like 3 and a half hours after I shampood. So is it gonna mess up my hair or something. Help please ? xoxo thanksss :)Is it okay to highlight my hair after I shampoo-ed ittt?
no, it wont mess up. i have done it too. they just ';say'; color sticks better to unwashed hair. but i have taken a shower in the morning, come home from school and dyed my hair. it will be fine. :)Is it okay to highlight my hair after I shampoo-ed ittt?
maybe!! well for me if i shampoo my hair on the day i will dye it then the color goes in my pores on my head..and then it burns and gets itchy...maybe ur different..just be careful cuz then wen it burns its not a good feeling :)
no. i dye my hair a lot and if your dyeing it yourself then you have to wait till the next day to highlight it. otherwise the shampoo may effect the dye.
they always say that you should have not clea hair when you do these kits. trust me i do them to, so i would say do it tomorrow morning. :]
You can color it, but the color will stick to your hair better if it is dirty, clean hair works too though :)
NOPE.....Its good that you shampooed as the dirst has washed off and you will be able to keep the color on for longer as well.
Take care
God bless you.
You can, but color sticks better to un-washed hair.
No. You should not wash your hair for 24 hours before you highlight or color it.
before applying dye to your hair, you have to wet and blow dry your hair anyway, so you should be fine. ;) xx

If you swallow shampoo while pregnant, will it hurt the baby?
Please no rude answers, this is my first pregnancyIf you swallow shampoo while pregnant, will it hurt the baby?
Not directly. It might make YOU sick, however. (And excessive vomiting could lead to dehydration.)
Don't intentionally swallow shampoo. If you accidently swallow a bit (like while risning your hair), don't worry about it.If you swallow shampoo while pregnant, will it hurt the baby?
Probably not. It may cause a little diarrhea and vomiting so drink plenty of liquids to prevention dehydration. Now, if you are craving shampoo and other non-food items, you need to tell your OBGYN right now because that is PICA. It's eating non-food items like soap, dirt, laundry detergent, paint, etc. It's caused by a very low level of iron or other nutrients so you need to be evaluated immediately if this was on purpose.
Hope this Helps!
Depends how much. If by accident than no, but if you drank more than 3 ounces than yes.
Why would you swallow shampoo ever????
If it was an accident, No. If you're eating it, yeah.

Whats the best shampoo for oily hair?
im 12 and i have oily hair and an oily scalp. i take a shower everyday and then the next day it becomes oily. whats the best and right shampoo/conditioner for me? please answer nicely.Whats the best shampoo for oily hair?
use a shampoo specially formulated for oily hair. biolage has a good shampoo. look around, though. also, since you have oily hair, never use conditioner on your scalp. this will only make your hair oilier. if you have to use conditioner, i recommend only using it on the tips of your hair. if your hair is oily, you don't need conditioner for your scalp. your oil is, in essence, your conditioner (sorry if that sounds gross, but it's true).Whats the best shampoo for oily hair?
Well, it might not be your shampoo, because if you tend to wear too much hair products such as gel and hairspray, it can make your hair oily and greasy. Also its all part of growing up! This is the age were your hair usually tends to get more oily then usual. To avoid greasy hair I would recommend you use, Dove or Garnier Frutice. Oh, and try not to use too much hair products!
Good Luck!
I use Pantene and it works really well.
Uh, a shampoo for oily hair.
*sigh* I think Herbal Essences makes a shampoo specifically for oily hair. All you have to do is check the fronts of the bottles for this sort of thing, you know.
Pantene makes a great clarifying shampoo. It's clear and in a clear bottle.... It's around $4-5, I think.
I'm assuming you wash your hair everyday.
Well, STOP! Only wash your hair every other day.
Use Sunsilk or Garnier Fructis. Those are the best ones for oily hair.
Hi! I had a similar question to yours a month ago. The girl that answered suggested that what I was using is a good shampoo. Biolage makes a great shampoo and conditioner. I use Tre'semme, another good one. Aussie is a good brand too. I was also told that using too much conditioner on my scalp can cause it to become more oily. It was suggested that I use less conditioner on my scalp and use it mainly on the ends of my hair.
Hope this helps.
use garnier fructis

Whats The Best Shampoo And Conditioner For Hair Strengthening And Lengthening?
I Have Medium Length Hair But I Want It To Grow Long.. I Stopped Straightening It.. Nw I Just Scrunch It With Mouse And Then Gel.. And Spray Some Hairspray.. But I Need A Very Good Shampoo And Conditioner To Help It Grow.. Also A Treatment It You Know AnY Good Treatments Please Let Me Know..Whats The Best Shampoo And Conditioner For Hair Strengthening And Lengthening?
The only way to make it grow is to keep it in good condition. Avoid heat styling, use a deep conditioning treatment on it once a month and my biggest tip would be to never brush it when its wet, always use a comb and work from the ends up easing out knots and not putting it under too much stress. Our hair continues to grow no matter what but it might not get any longer due to breakage if its not cared for.Whats The Best Shampoo And Conditioner For Hair Strengthening And Lengthening?
Using gel and hairspray causes breakage, which will keep your hair from growing longer. You should let your hair be more natural. Try Pantene Pro-V Beautiful Lengths.
Using pre shampoo treatments can help to infuse your hair with the moisture it needs to grow its longest. This is the best time to apply hot oil treatments so that the excess oils can be washed away during shampooing. The best pre shampoo treatment to use is Organic Virgin Coconut oil because it actually penetrates the hair unlinke most oils which only coat the hair. It should be applied like a hot oil treatment before washing. After applying, the hair should be covered with a plastic cap. Leave on hair for 30 minutes without heat or 15 minutes with heat. Then you may proceed to washing.
Washing
Your choice of shampoo is very important. Shampoos containing harsh sulfates strip the hair and should be avoided. The best type of shampoo to use is one gentle, moisturizing, and sulfate free like Essentious Exonerate shampoo. But at a minimum, your shampoo should not contain harsh sulfates. Check the ingredients list on your shampoo to find out if they are damaging.
Do not use shampoos that contain the following sulfates:
Ammonium Laureth Sulfate
Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate
TEA Laureth Sulfate
TEA Lauryl Sulfate
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate
The following sulfates are gentle and will not damage your hair:
Polyoxethylene Fatty Alcohols
PEG 80
Sorbitan Laurate
Decyl Polyglucose
Cocamidopropyl Betaine
Sodium Myreth Sulfate
A clarifying shampoo can be used once a month, or to remove heavy buildup. A clarifying shampoo should be different from your regular shampoo. It will contain harsher sulfates than those in your regular shampoo.

What is best Shampoo for thick hair , dry and i struggle with split ends?
I want a shampoo that will make my hair look good...What is best Shampoo for thick hair , dry and i struggle with split ends?
Garnier fructis (sp) sllek and shine is what i use to fix the same problem. shampoo and condition hair with the sllek and shine line. if you dry your hair with a blow dryer as i do, use sleek and shine smoothing milk. just two squirts into the palm of your hand and run it through your wet hair before you begin to dry. it will help protect your hair from splitting and also soften it to make it less thick. my hair is not curly but because it is sooooo thick i also run a straightener through it when i am done drying it. i use the sleek and shine anti frizz syrum and straighten my hair. this also protects your hair from damage. when i finish i use sleek and shine hir shine oil. it does not make your hair greasy buts smooths it out and adds a shine to it to make it look really healthy. purchase this line of products like i did and it will heal your hair and make it so much more manageable!
good luckWhat is best Shampoo for thick hair , dry and i struggle with split ends?
well, you might want to trim those split ends, that's the only way to fix them, sorry.
and i have thick hair, that was *really* dry, so, i use Herbal Essence Hello Hydration shampoo and conditioner, and don't rinse and repeat with the shampoo b/c it'll actually make your hair dry out. at least, that's what my stylist said to me.
http://www.garnierusa.com/_en/_us/progra鈥?/a>
I put your kind of hair and it gave me these!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I use their products and I luv em!!!!!!!!!!!111
Give your hair a good trim, like 4 inches off. Then start with a good shampoo %26amp; conditioner....you really have to give your hair a GOOD trim 1st tho.

My hair is oily as well as frizzy.what shampoo must i use?
Actually my hair is oily as well as frizzy. Also i do have dandruff problem.so what type of shampoo and conditioner must be used by me.an how frequently? My hair is oily as well as frizzy.what shampoo must i use?
Baby shampoo or any shampoo that is free of glycerine. If you use baby shampoo, you won't need conditioner. If you use any conditioner, rince it with cold water after rincing with hot.
there's no sure for frizzy hair except for hair grease. I've tried everything in beauty supply stores %26amp; normal products.
Use a dandruff shampoo %26amp; conditioner once a week. It will never go away, but it will reduce a little. Head %26amp; Shoulders won't dry the crap out of your hair like Selsun Blue will.My hair is oily as well as frizzy.what shampoo must i use?
The problem is that you are only using shampoo. You need to use shampoo, conditioner, anti-frizz gel, volume, and more. Garnier Frutics has a whole line of great products, as well as Herbal Essences and Pantene. For your dandruff problem, Head and Shoulders shampoo helps a lot. You don't need to wash your hair everyday but 3 times a week minimum. BUT, using conditioner for your hair too often isn't good. One important thing to keep in mind though, everyone has different hair. Different products work better on others. For now, I would just experiment with the ones I mentioned above and if you're still having problems, post another question.
I have horrible, horrible dandruff to the point where I have to rub a cortizone solution on my scalp sometimes, so I'm the master at this.
Wash your hair every other day (do NOT deviate from this) with a heavy dandruff shampoo (I use Selson Blue...cheaper but strong) and follow up with a shampoo and conditioner. I also boar-bristle brush my scalp every morning and night to take off the excess flake-age.
Look into a leave-in conditioner, too (I use a tonic, but that's usually for men).
oily hair and frizzy is called combination. so any shampoos that are for combination hair will help. my friend swears by aussie's combination shampoo. and i've used it before and liked it, but it wasn't a miracle, yet it worked. personally, with combination hair i like pantene volume, and then i blow dry my scalp a little bit when i get out of the shower, just to keep it from being too oily too soon. and i wash every other day. also, i use head and shoulders as well as the pantene to get rid of dandruff. i swear by it. :] hope all this helped.
[[alexis]]
I learned in health class that people's skin that is oily is oily because your scalp works faster. You need to wash your hair more often. I have the same problem you do. I use Herbel Essence frizzy shampoo but I don't have very much dandruff. If you have that I would use head and shoulder's. Getting rid of dandruff does take a while maybe 2 years a little bit less. But, you will be happy when it's gone.
i got a honey moisturizing one from the body shop. it smells good and makes my hair less frizzy. and for the greas i have it bad too. i just have to wash my hair everyday. for dandruff i just use head and shoulders once a week. i find if i use it more it makes my hair even more greasy.
can you help me?http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind鈥?/a>
there is an actual shampoo for that, it's aussie cleanse and moisterize i think i forget, but its a shampoo for people with oily scalps, but frizzzy dry damaged hair, i use it and it works great

Whats the best shampoo and conditioner for frizzy hair.?
When i go the hairdressers they use some anti-frizz shampoo and deep conditioner and my hair gets so soft and shiny. What is a good brand for thick frizzy hair. Happy Easter to Everyone.
%26amp;%26amp; has anyone heard of hemp hair products.
Thanks so much
xxxWhats the best shampoo and conditioner for frizzy hair.?
The absolute best is Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair or cause the frizzies, plus...it smells awesome! Organix has different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! You can get Organix at Target, CVS, Bed Bath %26amp; Beyond, Walgreens, Rite-Aid, Wal-Mart, etc. You'll love it!!!
http://organixhair.com
.Whats the best shampoo and conditioner for frizzy hair.?
Try Tigi or john Frieda but usually the best thing for frizzies is a hot oil treatment
Sunsilk No Frizz (blue bottle) has worked for me, especially when paired with John Freida's Brilliant Brunette Shine Shock serum.
Also, this is just a weird hair drying tip I've found: (my hair is between curly and straight, I tend to blow dry it straight): after showering I put my hair in a ponytail and blow dry the top of my head from top to bottom so that the ';frizzies'; are forced downward. Once the top of my head is dry, I let down the rest of my hair and continue to blow dry. My hair dryer has a narrowing filter on the end of it so that the air comes out more concentrated; with more force.
Good luck!
I have heard of hemp i have not used it but i believe its ment 2 be very good. I have thick frizzy hair %26amp; use delva ph balance %26amp; use a ghd straightener i find that works 4 me also i only wash my hair 1 a week 2 start with it drove me mad but now it doesnt even get oily.
you must use sunsilk green bottle. it adds shine to hair, prevents from falling, makes hair smooth and soft

Herbal Esscenses - shampoo, bilace matrix - conditioner (leaves it amazingly soft even when full of chlorine and other chemicals and junk) ;)
I just started using pantene's beautiful lengths 2 in 1, and I love it. I haven't used it long enough to say if it makes my hair grow longer, but my hair looks and feels great!
I use either Dove, cronic damage(because my hair is kinda dry!) and sometimes i use granier fruitics sleek and shine
they both work really well!
Suave Smooth Shampoo / Suave Smooth Conditioner

Herbal Esscenses - shampoo, bilace matrix - conditioner (leaves it amazingly soft even when full of chlorine and other chemicals and junk) ;)
I just started using pantene's beautiful lengths 2 in 1, and I love it. I haven't used it long enough to say if it makes my hair grow longer, but my hair looks and feels great!
I use either Dove, cronic damage(because my hair is kinda dry!) and sometimes i use granier fruitics sleek and shine
they both work really well!

Do you use shampoo or soap when you wash your hair?
when you take a shower or wash your hair only, do you use soap or shampoo? or both?Do you use shampoo or soap when you wash your hair?
shampoo, because one, it has the types of nutrients to keep ur hair healthy, and two, because soap has the types of nutrients ur skin need. soap dries out ur hair. so i wouldnt use soap unless u want dry, fried hair when ur hair dries.Do you use shampoo or soap when you wash your hair?
of course shampoo.....soap for hair....neah!!!i use shampoo followed by conditioner
I've never used body soap on my hair, just shampoo.
shampoo then conditioner. soap is bad for your hair. don't ever use it.
Shampoo- NEVER use soap unless you have to. It dries out your hair.
Shampoo
shampoo
Shampoo, soap is too harsh for your hair.
shampoo
soaps dry our your hair, stick to shampoos only!
hun?
Well I use shampoo because I have color in my hair. If you have color or your hair is chemically treated soap will strip your chemical. It is really good to use dawn dish washing liquid if you want to strip a color out of your hair.
Shampoo
uhh...shaaaampooo....its not good for ur hair to use body soap...oh n i use conditioner n other products too.
I am a college student, when i run out of shampoo, i break out the dial haha.

I need a shampoo for oily hair?
I have thick long hair but it gets so oily so fast. I try to use little conditioner butI have to use some kind of conditioner. everything these days is all sleek and smooth with moisture. any kind for thick and oily? to stay healthy hair?I need a shampoo for oily hair?
Classic Prell and Head and Shoulders 2 in 1.I need a shampoo for oily hair?
Oily hair can be a pain and is a common complaint among persons who have acne problems.
Best Shampoo for Oily Hair
Shampoo selection is another important consideration. Shampoos are designed for a variety of hair types. Use a shampoo designed for oily hair. Oily hair shampoos have stronger detergents and fewer conditioners.
Wash you hair daily for frequent sebum removal, but do not use a hair conditioner after shampooing. Sebum is a wonderful conditioner, and additional products are not needed. Any conditioner applied to the hair will only increase the speed with which the hair appears oily.
Combing and Brushing
Another habit that may increase the appearance of oily hair is frequent grooming. Combing and brushing aid in the movement of sebum from the scalp down the hair shaft. The hair should be handled as little as possible.
T-Gel by Neutrogena works pretty well. However, don't use it everyday. And also, don't use conditioner.
SOME TIPS:
--Use a mild shampoo, shampoo for oily hair, shampoo for dry scalp, or a baby shampoo
--Wash oily hair daily, but concentrate the shampoo on the hair away from the scalp to remove the excess oil from the hair, not on the scalp itself, because this can dry the scalp even more
--Always rinse your hair thoroughly with cool or lukewarm water, because soap residue can make oily hair worse
--Use a hot oil treatment directly on the scalp itself, gently massaging the oil into the scalp and then rinsing the oily hair thoroughly afterward
--If hair is very oily, do not use conditioner at all, or use conditioner only on the tips or ends of the hair
--Oily hair is likely shiny enough, so avoid using hair gloss gel or shine hair care products on oily hair
--For extremely oily hair, a vinegar rinse, comprised of one (1) part vinegar to four (4) parts water can help remove oil from your hair, but be sure to avoid using vinegar on the scalp
--Don鈥檛 brush oily hair frequently, because brushing oily hair can actually cause the scalp to produce more oil
--Don鈥檛 rub or scratch your scalp when you have oily hair, because stimulating the scalp like this can produce more oil
--Diluted lemon juice can provide similar results to the vinegar rinse for oily hair with a much more pleasant scent
I recommend Tea Tree Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner or Herbal Essences.
They are both really good shampoos for oily/greasy hair.
Also, my great nan told me once that washing your hair once a day with one squirt of shampoo and two lots of conditioner would add to making your hair shine and looking silky and smooth.
For example:
-Rinse the hair carefully
-Rub in shampoo
-Rinse out thoroughly
-Rub in conditioner
-Rinse out
-Add a second lot of conditioner and gently comb through
-Wash off
Also, if your washing you hair in the evenings, make sure you dry it properly before you go to sleep. If not, this will make your hair look really greasy in the morning- I know from experience.
Hope this helps x
the stronger shampoo you use and the more you wash your hair, the oilier it will get. Try to use a regular shampoo, but try to wash your hair every other day, it will be horrible for a week or two, but your body will adjust itself and produce less oil. Keep in mind that many of these product are marketing schemes to make us buy more. Our bodies needs some of the natural oil it makes, and when we wash it too often, we are messing with the natural flow of things. Of course, once you get in the habit of buying that special shampoo and washing your hair often, the manufacturers have reached their goal. So, Use a neutral PH shampoo, and wash less, and don't use as much products, your hair will become less oily in a few weeks (and btw, the same things goes for skin - the less you clean it with strong stuff, the less oily it becomes)
Whenever you wash you hair you should use any kind of shampoo...and dont use a lot of conditioner when you use a lot of conditioner it will make your hair oily ...then blow dry your hair.

My dog has fleas and it seems that everything that I do isn't working what shampoo would you recommend and?
what else would you recommend that isn't pricey and that I wouldn't have to go to the vet for, An example would be like..powders and sprays.
oh also, one of my dogs is only a puppy just about 8 weeks old so some stuff I can't use on her, even puppy stuff do you know any good things for a puppy her age to kill the fleasMy dog has fleas and it seems that everything that I do isn't working what shampoo would you recommend and?
I used Dawn dishwashing soap and it killed all the fleas. It worked the best. Just run the bath with luke warm water... apply the dawn soap from the back of the ears all the way down to the dogs behind. Then, massage the soap into the fur. Do this for several minutes until you see most of the fleas now up by the dogs neck. Use tweezers to pick them out. Rinse your dog VERY WELL.. you will find that all the fleas are gone.
*Side note-- if your dog has had fleas for a while, I would suggest taking some kind of household treatment as well (call your exterminator)My dog has fleas and it seems that everything that I do isn't working what shampoo would you recommend and?
Ask your vet. he/she will know what to use in accordance to the degree of the flea infestation and the kind and age of your pup. But if he/she gets fleas easily do not let it roam around where he has contact with soil and dirt since that's where fleas come from. Do not let it play with dogs with fleas as well.
I would recommend SERGANT that shampoo for puppies thats what i use for my dog and my cousin*s puppy its green and it has a golden dog on the front i hopes that works GOOD LUCK : )
A gel you use on the back of the neck on the skin . Advantge . However I would check the minimum age you can use on a puppy . Good Luck .
Flea shampoo
Check if it can be used on puppies by reading the label.
Leave the shampoo on the recommended time.
You may have to repeat this in 7 to 10 days.
NOTHING! otc flea products are crap! get a proper flea treatment from your vet and call a professional to treat your house.

Why are conditioner bottles always smaller than the shampoo?
because you use less conditioner than shampoo
shampoo is for your whole head
conditioner is just for the ends of your hairWhy are conditioner bottles always smaller than the shampoo?
I dunno but it bugs me.Why are conditioner bottles always smaller than the shampoo?
Well generally, you don't use as much conditioner as shampoo (or at least I don't).
You don't use as much conditioner. Shampoo says to ';rinse and repete'; while conditionter does not.
I don't think you use as much conditioner as shampoo or atleast you shouldnt because if you use as much as you use shampoo it could make your hair really oily. For me, by the time I finish my shampoo bottle I still have half a bottle of conditioner left :]
idk but i hate it! I USE THE SAME AMOUNT OF BOTH!
i dont know why but its really annoying. cuz they should last the same amount of time but they never do. well for me anyway.
well because when you use shampoo your suppose to use it either twice or three times but for conditioner your only suppose to use it once
-hope this helps!-
thier the same sizes. conditioner is thicker so it seems like theirs not as much, when thier really is
