What kind of dog shampoo or flea colar kills fleas?

Well, from my experience, neither of these worked well for me. I reccomend a flea dip from a local animal shelter, or your vet. I use a product called Frontline, and it is working VERY well for me. Give it a try! :)

Like I said, you can usually get this product at your local animal shelter, or your vet. Good luck! What kind of dog shampoo or flea colar kills fleas?
shampoing the fleas will just kill an adult on the dog only for the others to hop on later..you must get a monthly spot on like frontline plus you will need to kill the fleas, eggs and larve living in your home remember as soon as you see one flea on your pet in the home your already infested, you need to get some spray to treat your home from the vet or flea bombs and a bloody good hoover.my vet said the best place for flea collers is in the hoover bag!

even my chemist is selling frontline now..im afraid its the only way to keep on top of what can be a terrible infestation problem, not good for you and not good for dog.

remember to wash everything too. What kind of dog shampoo or flea colar kills fleas?
Don't buy anything off a supermarket shelf. Go to the vets and ask them. It is a bit expensive but worth it. Then treat your dog with Frontline which will kill fleas for 6 - 8 weeks. You have to keep on top of it which seems expensive at the time but is cheaper than taking your dog to the vets with infected bites.
As i know there are no shampoo's which actually kill flea's. As for collars most will kill them to a certain extent but not the full lifecycle of the flea. You'd do better with a spot on treatment try:

- Frontline

- Advocate

- Stronghold

If these are availiable in the US?
Shampoo's and collar's dont work, you need to go the vets and get the real stuff
