Just pack it in your checked in luggage - so that you don't have to be limited to those max 100 ml bottles. Normal shampoo is fine in checked in luggage.Is shampoo restricted from Europe to the US?
I believe it might still be. I know that it isn't if you are only traveling within the US.
You should call the airline to make sure.
