My hair having dandruff i don't know what to do to it, i been using dandruff shampoo but with no help?

read the ingredients list on the label. Try a different shampoo with different active ingredient. Some stores like wal-mart, target, etc


have sample size bottles (not free, but inexpensive) enough so you can tell if it is going to be effective. For long time use try to alternate different shampoos. If there is still a serious problem it might be some type of scalp problem besides regular dandruff. Try regular sanitizing combs, brushes etc in alcohol (let dry before use) to prevent re infection.
Dandruff can be caused by dry scalp, eczema, or a certain kind of yeast (not the same yeast as the kind that causes problems for women on the other end of their bodies, though). If you really have problem dandruff, you should go to a dermatologist who will help figure out what is causing it. You could try a shampoo that has Nizoral in it. The shampoo used to be by prescription but I think it is an over the counter product now. This will help if the dandruff is caused by a yeast.

you could have psoriasis. My husband has it, he just thought he had dandruff until he shaved his head and found rash like spots on his head.


His isn't bad, but i don't know how bad it can get.

Hot water thing is a myth, dandruff is caused by a fungus, not just dryness. You can try Paul Mitchell's Dandruff shampoo w/ tea tree oil in the green bottle it worked for me.
all you have to do is buy any kind of moisturizer.


limit washing your hair to twice a week.
