What kinds/names of rug shampoo are there that do not require a carpet cleaner?

I use a great product called Capture for my carpets. It's a two part product, which a spray you do first, then sprinkle this powder on. You scrub it in with a long handled brush, let it sit, then vacuum it up. It does an excellent job, even with pet stains.
