Can you use shampoo in the place of laundry detergent?

Cuz were all out of laundry detergant and I want to clean my clothes before school tomorrowCan you use shampoo in the place of laundry detergent?

If you're needing clean cloths, you might be able to do that if you used like just one capful or maybe two but no more because I would think that it would bubble up too much if you added too much more. Dish soap (the regular ';in the sink'; kind) works too.
No. It won't work. Go out and buy laundry detergent. If you don't have the money to buy the detergent then hand wash them with liquid dish soap and/or baking soda.
In a pinch it can be used for hand-wash items. Rinse it out with white vinegar afterwards because shampoo has much more foam than detergent.
simple green works great and so does amonia. and baking soda works great in a pinch
No it will ruin your washer,as well as your clothes.
dish liquid is better.
